You can enter notes of how well the Acer Aspire 6930G works with Linux here.
The Acer Aspire 6930G here ships with Vista and works well but it is a joy to format it and run (Linux)(K)ubuntu. Pretty much everything is detected and runs out of the box. What pleased me the most was the wireless range added by the fact that it supports 802.11n. The network detection range is amazing and the speed makes doing things on it, a breeze. The model I own and tested is pretty much maxed out apart from not having a fingerprint reader (I hate those, they are easy to trick) and bluetooth. Its a real breath of fresh air since everything just works, very unlike my older Acer where I had to hand compile a lot of things. All in all its the best Notebook I have installed linux on
