Notes
You will need kernel 2.6.22 or greater to get the Aspire 5720G working properly with Linux. Older kernels lack properly hardware support. The open source radeon driver included with Xorg does not currently support the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2300. However support has been added for this chip in the current version of the proprietary ATI driver. You will need to install the proprietary drivers to get the display working correctly.
You can get the webcam in the 5720G working with the linux-uvc drivers, however quality is not the best. Most distribution do not include this driver so you will need to install it manually.

Comments
Gentoo (x86_64)
all work fine
video - nvidia 8400 GS (I want only nvidia, it have good drivers on linux)
kernel - 2.6.24-gentoo-r5
acer_acpi and acerhk not build for 64, but Fn+F5(off screen) and Fn <- -> (Adjust brightness) work
NO Mobility HD2300 SUPPORT FOR x86
architecture.
If anyone knows where I can find the drivers, your help is much appreciated.
Thanks

The only problem i had is at start up when the network-manager starts to connect to the default wireless network sometimes i get a kernel panic and the system freezes... :-(
