There were no problem running Linux on this notebook. Nothing of significance to note at all.

It's possible that you may encounter issues relating to the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 when using the VGA out port at certain resolutions.

Summary

There were no problems in getting the Asus A3Ac to work well. It is recommended to use a Linux distribution with kernel version 2.6.16 or greater, such as Fedora Core 5 or Ubuntu 6.06.
