Introduction

This is a guide to running Linux with the Asus A3Vp laptop. This is a nice laptop with a good graphics card. Its Linux support is excellent.

Use can use either the open source radeon driver or ATI's proprietary fglrx driver for this graphics chip. You can view out installation guide for ATI graphics chips here. For 3D graphics you will need the proprietary driver.
