Notes
For the ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 you can use either the open source radeon driver or ATI's proprietary fglrx driver. Installation details are available in our Configuring an ATI graphics chip howto. This SIS 802.11b wireless controller in the Asus A4D does not have any native drivers for Linux which therefore means ndiswrapper must be used. The Configuring the ndiswrapper driver guide will help you with the installation. The windows driver to use can be found on the Asus website.

The SIS wireless controller make installation difficult, especially on Fedora. The other features on the Asus A4D work well with Linux.Have you installed Linux on this laptop? If so how about leaving a comment about your success in the comments section below.
