Notes

The ATI Mobility Radeon x700 graphics chip is supported by both the Xorg radeon driver and proprietary fglrx driver. The Configuring an ATI graphics chip guide may be helpful here.

This Broadcom BCM4318 wireless controller doesn't have native drivers available. This means you will need to install ndiswrapper. The Configuring the ndiswrapper driver guide may be helpful here. The windows driver to use are available at the Asus support site.

Summary

The primary issue with Asus A7D is with the wireless networking, other features work well. Hopefully some native drivers for the wireless will be made available soon.
