Introduction

This is a guide to running Linux with the Asus A7Vc laptop. The A7Vc has a very nice screen with excellent specifications even though it is heavy. Linux is well supported here.

Either the open source radeon driver or ATI's proprietary fglrx driver can be used with the ATI Mobility Radeon x700 chip. To use 3D you need the ATI drivers. Our guide can help you to install these drivers.
