Hi all,
I run Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.04 on an EeePC 901 (12GB) with no issues. I disabled the netbook interface though because it was slow, and I preferred the standard Ubuntu desktop anyway. I've refrained from running the updates that it wants to install though because when I tried to install them last time it stop working to the point of requiring reinstalling of the whole OS.
I tried Easy Peasy but didn't like it, it seemed essentially to be a slower more clunky version of UNR. Also tried Moblin (Beta) but didn't like it because it a) didn't come with OpenOffice or an equivalent installed, and b) wouldn't let me install it manually. Seems to be primarily set up for internet usage, and I mainly use mine for note taking in college so it wasn't really for me.
Hope this helps, I love this thing. Quick, small, light and powerful.
