Notes
For the graphics chip you can use both the open source radeon driver and ATI's proprietary fglrx driver. For installation instructions, you can view our Configuring an ATI graphics chip guide. For 3D support, you will need the proprietary driver. Some older versions of X may not have support for the ATI Mobility Radeon x1600, in this case you will need to use the proprietary driver.Audio now works under ubuntu feisty (and maybe other distros) with the latest ALSA-drivers (1.0.14.rc4) installed

Summary
There were no problems in getting the Asus W2Jb working when used with an up to date Linux distribution.
