Introduction

This is a guide to running Linux with the Asus W3V laptop. The W3V is a reasonably price laptop and, while not the fastest available, is plenty quick for most people's needs. This laptop is a great choice for Linux as its support is excellent.

Notes

You can use either the radeon driver from Xorg or the fglrx driver from ATI for the ATI Mobility Radeon x600 included in the W3V. For installation details you can review the Configuring an ATI graphics chip guide.

missing bluetooth

Got Ubuntu gutsy.
Bluetooth doesn't work out the box... still looking.
