Notes

Either the open source radeon driver or ATI's proprietary fglrx driver can be used with the ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 found in the Amilo A1630.

The Realtek rt2500 driver is not included with the kernel so you may need to download and compile this driver manually. Some distributions, like Mandriva 2007, include this driver already.

Summary

The installation of Linux on the Fujitsu Amilo A1630 can be a little difficult depending on the Linux distribution used. Mandriva is easy because it includes all the required drivers whereas Fedora is tricker because it lacks the rt2500 driver.
