Notes

For the A1650G's ATI Xpress 200M graphics card you can use either the standard radeon or ATI's fglrx driver. The Configuring an ATI graphics chip for Linux guide will help in with the installation.

The Broadcom wireless controller included with the in the Amilo A1650G does not have any native drivers for Linux. Due to this you will need to install the ndiswrapper driver. Installation instructions which you can follow are available on our Configuring the ndiswrapper driver guide. The windows driver to use with ndiswrapper are available on the Fujitsu website.

Summary

The Fujitsu Amilo A1650G is not the easiest laptop available to use with Linux due to the Broadcom controller. Installation may be a little tricky for first time Linux users.
