Notes

Our Configuring the ndiswrapper driver guide will need to be followed to get the Broadcom BCM4310 wireless card in the V6000z working with Linux. This is because there are no native Linux drivers. The windows driver to use can be found on the HP support site.

Summary

Linux support is poor on the HP-Compaq Presario V6000z because of the need to use the ndiswrapper driver for the Broadcom wireless controller included.
