Introduction

This is a guide to running Linux with the IBM-Lenovo ThinkPad Z61t laptop. The ThinkPad Z61t from Lenovo is a lower end laptop but with a large screen. Linux support on the Z61t is excellent.

Notes

As default the screen resolution of the ThinkPad Z61t is 1280x768 but because of the way the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 functions this resolution isn't available right away.
