Notes

For the wireless controller you will need to use the ndiswrapper driver. For installation instructions, you can view our Configuring the ndiswrapper driver guide. The Windows drivers can be downloaded from here.

Some models of this notebook use the Intel 2915 wireless controller. This is supported by the ipw2200 driver.

Summary

Apart from the wireless controller this laptop is easy to use with Linux. While you can get the wireless controller to work, dealing with ndiswrapper may be confusing for inexperienced users.
