Introduction

This is a guide to running Linux with the Toshiba Satellite A100 laptop. The A100 is a low to middle end model laptop with some fairly standard features making Linux support good.

As default the native screen resolution of the Satellite A100 is 1280x800 but due to how the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 works this resolution would not be usable right away.
