Notes
We have a guide to help you configure the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 in the A200 with Linux. Because of the way this graphic controller function the native resolution of the notebook is not supported until you use the 915resolution tool.Audio and mixer support
To get audio output, edit /etc/modprobe.conf and add the parameter to the following lines:
options snd-card-0 index=0 model=3stack
options snd-hda-intel index=0 model=3stack
Reboot, and you should get the audio and mixer working. Volume knob doesn't work for me, though.

Audio
I had an issue with audio and those two lines:
options snd-card-0 index=0 model=3stack
options snd-hda-intel index=0 model=3stack
helped me...
Thanks
Thanks
Thank you for the update.
I think I will try to install Ubuntu or similar on this laptop.
Audio solution and more
NVidia Go7300 is fully working on my Fedora 7 after installing the driver from livna. And executing livna-config-display (it works automagically, no need to edit xorg.conf)
A200-12x has a Wifi-N card which is not supported from ipw3945. I am currently composing a complete page about configuration with Fedora 7.

audio
Thank you for all these information!
Please make an update, as soon the issues with the audio has been solved.
Re: audio
I have a Toshiba Satellite A200-1CR.
My speakers would still play music when my headphones were connected. I used the following options on my Fedora Core 7 /etc/modprobe.conf
options snd-hda-intel model=lenovo
Has worked as should since.
Hope this helps.

Joe
