This is a guide to running Linux with the Toshiba Satellite M105 laptop. This M105 is a lower specification notebook with a fairly common layout. The Linux compatibility for the M105 is very good after some minor configuration work.

The native screen resolution of the Satellite M105 laptop is 1280x800, however because of the way the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 functions this resolution would not be available right away.
