Introduction

This is a guide to running Linux with the Toshiba Satellite P200 laptop. The Satellite P200 from Toshiba is a large screen notebook with medium level internal components. This laptop work quite well under Linux.

Notes

The NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 in the P200 required the proprietary 'nvidia' driver from NVIDIA to support the 3D functions of this chip. If 3D support is not required then you can use the open source 'nv' driver.
