A patch posted on the alsa mailing list works partially : http://mailman.alsa-project.org/pipermail/alsa-devel/2008-December/013101.html Newest Alsa snapshot fixes the problem completely, download it here: http://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/tiwai/alsa/ also add one line to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf: options snd-hda-intel model=acer-aspire-8930g |
