Archbang runs smooth out of the box.

Haven't tried wired, or card reader.

i too used to have problems with wireless i would recomend downloading a 3.1.4/3.1.5 kernel since thats all i have experience with and if you know how to configure the kernel goto the staging drivers and make modules of broadcoms (brcmsmac) and or (brcmfmac) and enable the realtec card reader (not sure of exact name but realtec something) the module will be called rts_pstor (its in the staging drivers too) and (usb 2.0 ehci under usb devices.)
sorry in advance for the run on sentence and this may not work for you (i have d257-13404)
and also i havnt been able to get the lcd brightness to work yet when the linux loads so take care of that before your linux gets started…

Hi,

What Kernel is the above working on?

I'm trying to run a 2.6.30.9 kernel and am unable to get wired or wireless working. The USB won't read either.

Do you know what drivers I need to get wireless and wired working with the above kernel?

Also, I could just rebuild the Kernel but am not sure what modules etc. I would need or if they are included. I couldn't see any in there when I looked.

Thanks in advance,
-Gary
