Hi,
I've got one of these and still have LOTS of questions about how to make my Ubuntu work smoothly.
1. Battery Power.
The fan is ALWAYS ON, even if I don't use any apps. So, instead of the promised 8 hours I only get 3 hours of battery life
Tried all the powertop hints. Maybe I have to switch to that internal graphics card?
2. Suspend.
Latest Bios installed, however just suspend/resume does not work.
3. Boot.
Sometimes the GRUB freezes after a few seconds instead of continuing the countdown. So, I have to always hit the Enter Key when the boot menu pops up.
4. Network Manager
The ubuntu/Gnome Networkmanager drives me crazy. I can not edit configurations - it asks me for a password but then still tells me I have not enough privileges!? Why can't it just connect my 3G stick automatically? And what's that stupid keyring??
Great to get some advice from you people who have figured out some of these problems!
