Notes

Use can use either the open source radeon module or ATI's proprietary fglrx module for this graphics chip. You can view out installation guide for ATI graphics chips here. For 3D graphics you will need the proprietary module.

Summary

The Asus A3Vp had no issues with Linux. The hardware in the laptop was auto detected properly and installation was easy.
