Modem is not recognized in Ubuntu 8.10

Hi

Tried on Ubuntu 8.10. Works everything but the webcam at the first time.
Problem with webcam will go away with new kernel 2.6.28 and Ubuntu 9.04 (includes new driver).
So far the best linux-friendly laptop ever seen :)
