I am running ubuntu 9.1 on this kind of laptop (AMD Athlon Neo Processor MV-40: 1.6 GHz). I have some problems with the d-sub (vga) output when using different resolution then on the laptop's lcd display, and the audio crashes when the computer wakes up from sleep.

The vendor (asus) does not have official driver for linux, but the ati driver for linux works fine.
