Although this has yet to be tested, the modem may work with the Linuxant hsf driver.
With newer kernels (starting 2.6.19 or 2.6.20) you need “nolapic pci=biosirq pci=assign-busses” (at least for BIOS 0208).
!Summ
There were no issues in getting the Asus M2N working when used with an up to date Linux distribution.
