Asus M3N

Introduction

This is a guide to running Linux with the Asus M3N laptop. The M3N is a middle level laptop but does include a high resolution screen although this means some extra configuration work is required under Linux.

Notes

As standard, the native screen resolution of the Asus M3N is 1400×1050. Due to how the Intel Extreme Graphics functions this resolution may not be available right away, requireing the use of the 915resolution utility. Summary

The Asus M3N has very few issues under Linux. Support is good and installation was quite easy.
