Notes

So far I'm quite impressed. Still have to test the volume buttons, media control buttons, camera, bluetooth, and onboard cellular card.

Summary

Debian Squeeze works near out of the box, Debian Lenny does NOT run X, so start with Debian Squeeze. You'll be happy.

I'm testing on wheezy ( debian 7 ) my dell adamo 13. All is working very well except integrated microphone. what is possible to do to make it works?

Krampusz, Sunday 25 of July, 2010 [04:36:35]

I am running Kubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) and…

1) Thanks for the sound comment, I needed that before being able to make the headphone jack work.

2) The (built in) mic still does not work. Adding the dell-m6 line to alsa-base.conf brought up a new mic volume control (called “Mic 2”), but unmuting it still did not make a difference. I also have had two capture options that I have checked and so at the moment I am out of ideas.

Any help or suggestion would be appreicated.

Thanks!

ps: by the way, bluetooth and camera are both working out of the box (Kubuntu 10.04).

I have a Dell Adamo running Elive (Debian Lenny). It works very well.
Sound needs “options snd-hda-intel model=dell-m6” to the end of /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
External Monitor doesn't work

Does it play Compiz?
