Discussion
Hello,
i installed Ubuntu 11.10 and could use the system flawlessly, but when I reboot or boot the machine it very often only shows an unhealty looking white screen, colors fade and it ends with a big line on the screen. It doesnt react to any input, the next reboot sometimes foes fine.
Is this trouble known by someone?
cheers
I just tried to install ubuntu 11.10 amd64 onto this laptop using the USB stick method and CD method, no luck. The screen turns black with just a cursor blinking in the top left hand corner. Any suggestions>?
