The device works fine, I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 on it, except for wireless which requires non-free drivers (installation is simple though). The mousepad is a bit annoying, but is equally annoying under Windows so it isn't a Linux issue.
The card reader sometimes disappears after inserting/removing cards. Haven't used it enough to pinpoint the problem.
