Discussion

recently migrated from micro$shite windows 7 to Ubuntu 10.10 and all seems to be working exceptionally. wifi seems to be more stable, even with compiz fusion working at full animations etc is very snappy. the only problem that i have encountered it the lack of [fn] key functionallity. once ive fixed/found a work-around it will be fully functional.

SUSE 11.3 amilo, screen brightness not working, sound FN keys, the rest works ok.

Installed Ubuntu 9.10 from dvd. Everything working, except brightness control, it has only the upper two levels available.

I have installed Opensuse 11.2 successfully from DVD. So far all the basics like screen, keyboard, mouse/usb, camera, lan (wired), Internet (with Kinternet) speakers all work without any changes. Wireless lan is not yet working.
