This laptop was tested with Ubuntu 9.10 x64/x86, Ubuntu 10.04 x64, Debian 5.0.5, Linux Mint 8 x64, Fedora 12 on a P7450 @ 2.13 GHz (800 MHz), 6093MB RAM, no SWAP and 25% RAM as tmpfs.
This Laptop works fine with Linux. You can also use software with higher requirements. The newest Ubuntu kernel detect the WLAN-driver automatically. Other Linux it is possible to install the driver module manually from: You cant change display brightness, it's always on 100%. The An-keys (A1, A2, A3, A4) are not working. If you turn your WLAN off (by fn+F1) you can't turn it on until restart. There are no feedback LED for Caps-Lock, Num, Roll. There are no mainboard based hard-keys to turn WLAN/Bluetooth on or off. The build-in-speakers are not working.
