With 640 GB HDD: Runs with Linux “ubuntu 10.10” INCL. installed WLAN-Card “out off the Box”

Works Perfectly. I run the latest Mandriva release (2009) on it. The panel buttons work out of the box too (although I don't actually use them).
The video thing is due to the intel graphics chipset (I believe). xrandr –auto always brings it up when I give a lecture!
Lovely light and fast laptop.

I have also my S7110 with Ubuntu 8.04. Everything works but the videos. I have not found why so far.

Almost Works Great
(Further to my comment below) Actually, sorry, there was two small hiccups which still don't work - the shortcut buttons above the keyboard have never worked and I don't know how to fix it and also switching to a projector screen is buggy.

Works Great
I bought this laptop last year, immediately wiped Windows Vista and did a clean install of Kubuntu 7.10 and since then have switched to Ubuntu 8.04. The hardware all works great with Linux (which I checked out before I bought it).
