Graphics

Most current Linux distributions will be able to support the ATI Mobility Radeon X1350 in 2D mode. However if you would like to make use of 3D effects you will need to install the proprietary ATI modules. Details for doing this is available are the guides section of this site.

Summary

Only some minor configuration work is required to get the HP-Compaq 6820S working well with Linux. Most aspects of the 6820S are configured automatically by most distributions which makes this laptop an excellent choice for Linux usage.

The hole computer frezze for about 8 sec. Then i works for about 5 sec. Just before it starts to work again the screen turns a shade of blue and then back to normal again.
If I dont move the mouse or tuchpad the system works just fine.

I have OpenSuse 11 installed on my 6820s, you can add Bluetooth to compatible. It is working just fine.
