Everything except those that have not been tested (they probably work as well) works out-of-the-box. If a device doesn't seem to work, just turn them on using the their respective buttons on the function key list.

Hello, anyone there?
I'm considering a purchase of a MSI X-Slim x400, but I'd like to install Ubuntu on it. Anyone come forward with experience with this?

MSI x400 works with Ubuntu 10.04.1 completely out-of-the-box. I've only had a day with it though so far.
You may think that some its components don't work (e.g., wireless, touchpad, webcam) but they do work, they're just 'disabled;' re-enable them by pushing on their respective button on the function keys list. I especially thought that my wireless wasn't working because of this but it just wasn't turned on. Just turn whatever that seems not to work on.
