Installation of Linux on the Q35 was not an issue at all, everything went through smoothly.
The Samsung Q35 is quite a straight forward laptop to get working with Linux. The installation is easy and most of the hardware is detected and usable right away.
Discussion
I can confirm that the improved Samsung Q35 (with Core2Duo processor) works very well on the default installation of Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex, including Bluetooth.
