Discussion

I installed opensuse 11.1

Have worked with bluetooth and paired it with my SE phone.
(so bluetooth works for me)

I have the following issues:
- Setting brightness of screen.
- most other special assigned keys/
- sometimes wlan doesn't work (especially on battery). However, it sometimes does. I don't yet have a clue when it will and when it won't.

Hi alvaritogf,

I've just tried suspending my Samsung R610 AS06BE laptop, and it successfully gets out of suspended-mode. I also use Ubuntu 9.04.

Sadly this doesn't solve your problem.

Not all functionkeys work in Ubuntu.
The only Fn-keys that work are the soundadapting-keys, the others don't.

Hi,

my problem is when I suspend my Samsung R610 (using Ubuntu 9.04) It doesn't resume after suspending it.

I checked the energy configurations and the actions to do when it suspends and all is correct. Moreover I've modified several parameter to check if there is a mistake in this.

thanks in advance and hope desperately some of help

alvaritogf,

I ran into the same issue with my Samsung R610. I found out that you need to enable the Nvidia driver. If you go to System > Administration > Hardware Drivers. Look for the nvidia driver and click 'Activate'. After I did this, I was able to resume from suspend.
