This is a guide to running Linux with the Toshiba Portege M300 laptop, model PPM30A-05L001. The M300 works well with Linux, most of the hardware is working.

I didn't get a chance to test the modem in the M300, but it should work with the smartlink module. If that doesn't work it will almost certainly work with the Linuxant module.
No issues at all with the Toshiba Portege M300 under Linux. Installation went well and the M300 handles Linux properly.
