The NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 in the P200 required the proprietary 'nvidia' module from NVIDIA to support the 3D functions of this chip. If 3D support is not required then you can use the open source 'nv' module.
The Toshiba Satellite P200 was able to handle Linux with no issues at all. Installation on the P200 went through smoothly without any extra configuration.
