Discussion
Try Ubuntu 10.10, ethernet problem was solved after kernel 2.6.35.
I have another question:
- How do I discover if I have a bluetooth inside it? It doesn't appear in lspci neither lsusb… I wont't install windows to test it. My wireless is an Atheros AR9287 pci-e
Had the wireless problem and some strange audio problems which went away by themselves after some week (around end November 2010), I believe with an automatic ubuntu update. Now it works like a charm :)
Ok Linux on this notebook runs perfect
1. Upgrade BIOS
2. Install Linux
3. Upgrade kernel
and google how to fix all other problems ;)
for example:

well, I've tried Linux Mint 9 XFCE 64bit (from 90% based on ubuntu 10.04) and even after BIOS update the ethernet doesn't work. I'll try the KDE version, but I don't think it'll solve the problem..
