Acer Aspire 5538

Author

William Pfaff

Introduction

Installed Kubuntu 10.0.4 with few problems. Only needed to click on the network icon and enable wireless.
I downloaded cheese, Ekiga and GTK UVC viewer rebooted and then the camera works. Best with GTK UVC Viewer.

Summary

For the most part installing and enabling the network was easy, hardest part was getting the camera to work. After installing the software you need to reboot before the camera will work.
