Summary

With older versions of Ubuntu you needed the proprietary Nvidia driver, but with Ubuntu 13.10 (i.e. Linux kernel 3.11) the graphics works “out of the box”.

I just installed Ubuntu 10.04 on an Acer Aspiure 5751 but the wireless doesn't work. How do you install the drivers without a connection? http://www.pinayfashion.com/?p=9

I use Slackware64 13.1 and all the hardware works out of the box.
I use it since 4 days and im happy with it. http://stemclub.org
