Discussion
Currently running Linux Mint 10.10 “Julia”.
Video driver has to be downloaded and installed but works fine.
Only problem I have seen so far is the multi-touch gestures, touchpad not properly detected (touchpad works, but not the gestures neither the scroll) and cant find a solution for this yet.
Fully Functional.
Its me again. Here are my specs and my hardware experiences:
AMD Phenom™ II Quad-Core Mobile Processor N930 (2MB L2 cache, 2.0GHz)
4GB RAM
DVD+-RW
Graphics: Successfully played Hitman with Wine and worked flawlessly. Also the plugins for compiz currently running on my laptop (love the 3D Box).
Optical Drive: my DVD+-RW works just fine, reading and burning as it should.
Sound: Working fine. I've used it also with Wine and Propellerhead's Reasons and my midi controller and sounds great!
Ethernet and Wireless Working.
USB: Never had a problem with it. I also connect a Smart Card reader to it and works (you need to install some drivers first for the reader)
Webcam: Works out of the box.
The Laptop acer 7551G runs very good except video card(ATI Readon HD5650). It's a pity that one cannot enjoy vigorous and convenient graphical environment of SUSE.
