Besides the Bluetooth driver not working for me and the screen being on the dark side (somewhat fixable) it runs perfectly fine on Deepin for me.

I had Debian, Arch and currently Void Linux on my Acer Aspire 7730G.
hardware worked fairly well, even though hardware video accelleration is not supported, but that is with all linuxes and all nvidia cards.
Sound works fine with just alsa (no pulseaudio).

I'd say it works fairly well. There's a lot of problems with the drivers of the wireless network card. It's a broadcomm and the drivers are proprietary. They cause a lot of system problems e.g failure in suspending etc. Would recommend buying any other computer for a linux laptop.

Dames om het netwerk aan de gang te krijgen moet je bij zowel suse als ubuntu acpi=off opnemen bij grub.
alles werkt dan goed alleen acpi gerelateerde onderdelen werken niet.

Sorry, didn't realize that English is the comon language on this forum. With ubuntu jaunty all works perfect out of the box, with Ubuntu Karmic it's a disaster. No networking possible , a lot of people have also no conection at all (wired or wireless). Eventually managed to get the wireless working with an old usb wireless lan stick.

All works on OpenSuse 11.1.

There were some troubles with internal subwoofer (it doesnt work), but in newest version of alsa it's works perfect. Bluetooth starts working after installation. I don't test only card reader and modem, all other devices works fine.

Met ubuntu jaunty werkt alles perfect out of the box. Met karmic krijg ik met geen mogelijkheid het netwerk (draadloos en bedraad) aan de gang, met mij velen. Met een oude usb wireless lan stick uiteindelijk wel gelukt maar heb een trage verbinding.
