Discussion
Linux Mint 12 with Cinnamon and NVIDIA drivers (290.10). all apps work well, Inkscape, Blender, GIMP, office apps, and Virtual Box. Cant get google earth to work.
Okay, after installing 11.10 Unity now works. Not sure if there was a real difference or I did something right the second time. I did read that I could upgrade with the “Additional Drivers” function in 11.10.
Just tried Ubuntu 11.04 in duel boot mode with Win7 and I get an error when trying to run with Unity on. Apparently my graphics card is already not good enough, bummer. Probably useless but I am going to upgrade to 11.10 and see how it goes.
