This laptop was tested with Ubuntu 9.04 64bit edition.
There were no problems getting the Acer TravelMate 6593 working when using an up to date version of Linux.

I have the same problem with TM6593g and ubuntu 10.04
Memory limits
Hi, I have a TM6593G with 4 GB Ram but ubuntu (8.10 64bit) see only 3 GB Ram.
this is a free output command

I think the prolem is the ATI HyperMemory but at moment I don't know how solve this problem.
