|Sound||Partial||You will need to install the latest version of ALSA for sound to work, even with up to date Linux distributions like Ubuntu 10.10. You may have issues with the microphone and headphone ports even after doing this.|

Tested with Ubuntu 10.10.
The sound problems make the Asus A52F a fairly poor choice for Linux, however work is being done to correct this.
