This laptop works 100% using OpenSUSE 12.x or 13.x 64bit (yes this is a 64bit Atom chip) and using 64bit linux allows for the use of expanded memory above 3GB.
Of course this means using the nVidia drivers and not the nouveau nonsense. These are available in the OpenSUSE repositories.
The Ethernet chipset is 10/100 only so this is a downside. However the wireless chipset is 802.11b/g/n and supports up to 150Mbit connections.
All the ports and hardware are fully working, including the webcam, audio, external video, and special Fn keys.
For someone wanting a netbook for use with Linux, this is a great choice.
I have upgraded my model with 4GB of RAM and a 500GB Seagate SSD Hybrid drive which makes for a very usable Linux device.
