Note: I presently use Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.04 on the 900A. It works … umm, ok, but due to UNR specific issues, I strongly suggest you wait for 9.10 (or later) for UNR.
The UNR issues have mostly to do with user preferences:
-color changes not being what user selected in preferences,
-power management settings not adhered to,
-some software packages malfunctioning:
-system response after awakening for
As I mentioned, I think 9.10 will be better for the “Netbook Remix”.
YMMV.
Successfully installed Debian on March 26, 2009. For sound I had to adjust the “front” control in alsamixer to hear anything.
I gave Debian also a try. Everything is working fine EXCEPT the Cardreader. Anybody know this problem ?
