Problems with Shift-PgUp, Shift-PgDown as they are on numeric keypads but that can be fixed using custom keymaps. Everything was tested in 64bit Gentoo with kernel 2.6.27-r4 or newer.

Problems still persist when using Ubuntu 10

Everything works quite nicely, power management is great. Battery life is around 2.5-3h.

Monitor is a bit bad, resolution does not live up to real quality when editing photos, but with 12.04LTS never any problems whatsoever. All worked straight from the set-up.

Change: bug in the docs - asus-laptop brightness works flawless and devices (WiFi & Bluetooth) can be toggled without problems with asus-laptop module. If at all possible blacklist asus-acpi module.

wifi has some difficulties with WPA , need to force several times connection to get it work after reboot/ works great after that problem
dual screen is working but not really easy to handle, ubuntu tools only permit clone or extented, clone 2nd screen is not good with position too much on left, extended got the taskbar on second screen instead of 1st one
